At RE/MAX Partners Realty, we are celebrating the “Season of Giving” and encourage others to consider supporting some of the great initiatives in the community. We proudly contribute to the following organizations and urge our customers and community members to provide their support as well. Learn more about each organization below and click on their name for more details. Feel free join us in donating to their causes whether through volunteerism or contributing monetarily.

Brooklyn Economic Development

Brooklyn Economic Development (BED) exists to give prospective industries or companies choices in the form of build to lease, lease purchase, as well as other options. BED provides support to new and existing local businesses, industries and entities in agriculture, and promotes growth and job retention for Ag Industry, Manufacturing, Retail and Service Businesses of the Community.

Crisis Intervention Services

Crisis Intervention Services provides support and empowerment to victims and survivors of domestic and dating violence, sexual assault and/or violent crime throughout 12 counties in Iowa.

Grinnell Area Arts Council

The Grinnell Area Arts Council exists to promote, encourage, develop and assist in the understanding, appreciation and financial support of the arts and other cultural activities in the Grinnell area.

Grinnell Area Chamber of Commerce – Holiday Lights

In addition to existing as a core business network in the community, the Grinnell Area Chamber of Commerce recently managed efforts to update the Grinnell downtown holiday decorations including gathering donations and replacing the old decorations with new lighted displays and banners.

Grinnell College’s Living Room Theatre

Living Room Theatre puts on an hour-long professional performance the first Sunday of every month in someone’s living room. Performers are Grinnell College students and faculty as well as community members. Hosts are people willing and excited to open their doors and share their home for the evening. In addition to performances, Living Room Theatre works to bring at least one visiting artist to campus each semester.

Grinnell Tigers 10U Traveling Team

Grinnell Traveling Little League gives local 3rd and 4th grade kids the opportunity to learn and play baseball on a competitive level with the goal to improve from the first tournament to the last one. Each Spring, they play in 4–5 tournaments requiring tournament, registration and insurance fees. Donations to help offset these fees can be made by contacting Nikki Harseim at 641-888-0674.

Holiday Lake Community Center

The Holiday Lake Community Center is an events space within the Holiday Lake subdivision available to local homeowners. It was completed in 2008 to accommodate over 250 people with a full kitchen and may be reserved by Holiday Lake residents for wedding receptions, family gatherings, conferences and civic group meetings.

Imagine Grinnell

Imagine Grinnell is a foundation whose mission is to improve the quality of life for people in the Grinnell area, promote a healthy environment, and complement economic development efforts.

Marshalltown Main Street

As a Main Street community, the Marshalltown Central Business District works to improve the downtown area through building repair/restoration, beautification, and providing training and grant opportunities for downtown members and businesses.

National Trust for Historic Preservation

The National Trust for Historic Preservation protects significant places representing our diverse cultural experience by taking direct action and inspiring broad public support.

Poweshiek County Pheasants Forever

Poweshiek County Pheasants Forever is a local group of volunteers focusing on supporting conservation programs and Youth in Poweshiek County.

Sideout

Through youth education and empowerment, The Side-Out Foundation unifies the volleyball community to drive change in the way that breast cancer is treated.
